We are your transfer headquarters. From VHS to Digital, we can do most of the popular formats. Get your home movies transferred to archival DVD or Hard Drove as a Digital Computer File. We support the following tape sources VHS, s-VHS, VHS-c, 8mm Video, hi-8 video, digital 8 video, mini-dv and Betamax tape. We also transfer from SD Card and Cameras with built in Hard Drives.

We can convert foreign VHS tape and DVD. Conversions to and from foreign source, to and from North American standard VHS and DVD (NTSC). Transferred to Taiyo Yuden DVD's rated at 100 years archival.

We transfer your 8mm or 16mm home movie film to DVD. As well for those who wish, your home movies will also be transferred to a Digital Master file for computers, ideal for editing, making your own copies etc. This is done at no extra cost, all you need to do is provide us with a hard drive to transfer the files to. Files are available in MOV format for Mac and AVI format for PC (other file types may be available on request). Our transfers yield exceptional quality with clear sharp colourful picture. You can number your reels in the order you would like them transferred as each reel has a new chapter. You can also provide chapter titles with up to 20 characters for each title. Minor film repairs are done at no charge however larger repairs will be notified prior to repair work being done.

Have your home movies transferred to Blu-Ray Disc or DVD and have the option of an HD Digital Master in MOV or AVI format recorded on your supplied portable USB hard drive (15 GB of Hard Drive space is required for each hour of HD Video recorded). A standard definition DVD can also be supplied in addition to the BLU-RAY for $25.00 per 2 hour DVD needed. Please Note! Don's Photo is not responsible for the loss of any pre-existing data on hard drives submitted for recording. Please make sure that if any data is sent that it's a back up copy only.

Some of the old film that you find in your closet or in storage can be processed. From old still camera film to old motion picture film we can help. Don's has developed a close relationship with one of the leading sources of very old film processing. All still film is developed, scanned and printed with images returned to you on CD. Motion Picture film is developed and transferred to DVD. Some older motion picture film can only be processed to Black and White. 

We can also process and print disc film, Ektachrome and Kodachrome movie film, Kodacolour x print film and many, many others.

If your old still film is developed and nothing turns out there is no charge.

If motion film has no salvageable image a charge of $25.00 will still apply.
